Helpful to have ready

About how many feet of shoreline are involved.
A few photos of the bank, wall or dock, with the date. Winter photos at low water show the most.
Your county (Walker, Winston or Cullman) and a copy of your recorded deed. Alabama Power asks for the deed with a permit application.
Any Alabama Power permit already issued for your shoreline or dock.
Any subdivision ARC or HOA approval the work will need. Alabama Power asks for those too.
Whether a barge or truck can reach the work, and anything in the way, like trees, stairs or a steep yard.
